Freshwater pearls are cultivated in mussels, in non-saline environments such as ponds and rivers. Size can range from 1mm up to 15mm in round and near round shapes, and 30mm or larger in baroque shapes. The naturally¬†occurring colours of freshwater pearls are tones of beige, pink, lavender, orange and peach. China produces up to 95% of the world’s supply. Our collection of freshwater pearls are sourced directly from select farms in China and¬†sorted according to our specifications.
