Freshwater pearls are cultivated in mussels, in non-saline environments such as ponds and rivers. Size can range from 1mm up to 15mm in round and near round shapes, and 30mm or larger in baroque shapes. The naturally occurring colours of freshwater pearls are tones of beige, pink, lavender, orange and peach. China produces up to 95% of the world’s supply. Our collection of freshwater pearls are sourced directly from select farms in China and sorted according to our specifications.
